Mark your calendars for a fun night out at Grand River Cellars on 12/7/23 at 6:00. Limited seats available. Cost varies and includes all supplies necessary to leave with a beautiful painted wooden project.  Food and beverages sold separate. You might want to bring a t-shirt or apron to paint in.  Please think about what colors you would like your project to be in advance.  You get to pick all your paint colors. There is no right or wrong.

Due to time constraints, you can only paint one item.  You can purchase multiple items as long as you are purchasing for other people.

Join us at Grand River Cellars Sunday November 19th at 3pm for 90 minutes of creative fun arranging the freshest assortment of holiday greenery, berries, cones, and more into a long-lasting arrangement for your holiday table.  Greens arranged in a wet floral foam will remain fresh throughout the holiday season; just water like a houseplant!  You’ll learn basic design and materials techniques for making table arrangements from longtime wreath maker, Maggie Fusco of The Wood Road Salad Farm in Madison.  Maggie has been making winter wreaths, swags, and table arrangements with fresh materials for over 20 years, plus creating outdoor winter planters for clients in both public and private spaces, and leading workshops for garden clubs.  Class is limited to 25.  50$ fee includes the container, wet floral foam, and all the materials needed to fill it plus a glass of wine to toast your success!  

Class begins promptly at 3pm.  Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of time to check in and receive your complimentary glass of wine.  Winery opens at noon for lunch before class and is open until 8pm for more food, fun, and wine after class!

Finished arrangement sizes are 14”-18” high and wide.  Materials vary each year, will look similar to but not exactly like the photo, are always beyond the ordinary, and each participant makes it their own!

And what happens when you gather the freshest fir, pine, cedar, juniper, winterberries, boxwood, eucalyptus, cones and other fun materials, plus a swag base, wire, YOU, and expert instruction on a Sunday afternoon in November? Everyone goes home with a fabulous fresh swag that will stay vibrant on your door throughout the winter! Join us at Grand River Cellars for Swags n’ Wine on Sunday November 19th at 1pm for 90 minutes of creative fun.  You’ll learn a simple technique for making this winter swag from longtime wreath maker, Maggie Fusco of The Wood Road Salad Farm in Madison.  Maggie has been making winter wreaths, swags, and table arrangements with fresh materials for over 20 years, plus creating outdoor winter planters for clients in both public and private spaces, and leading workshops for garden clubs.  Class is limited to 25.  Fee is $50 which includes all materials plus a glass of wine to toast your success!

TURKEY TROT – WGGRV WINE TASTING & FOOD PAIRING EVENT

Annual Winegrowers of the Grand River Valley Turkey Trot

Let the wineries of the Grand River Valley help you choose wines for your Thanksgiving feast with our annual Turkey Trot tasting event. Join us on a drive-yourself tour of the Grand River Valley, sampling wines paired with Thanksgiving-inspired cuisine.

Patrons will visit each of the five wineries in any order they choose between noon and 5pm November 11st thru 22nd. For $9 at each location, the wineries will provide samples of their wines paired with a delicious appetizer. Donations will be made by participating wineries to local food banks from proceeds of the trail to help those in need during the holiday season.
