Peace Goat Yoga and Wine Tasting

Spend some time in the Grand River Valley Wine Region with goats and yoga! The Grand River Cellars Winery & Restaurant has teamed up with Feels Like OM Goat Yoga to offer the Peace Love Goat Yoga and Wine Tasting class series, which features an outdoor goat yoga class with adorable pygmy goats followed by a wine tasting. Get your zen on under the trees in the side lawn surrounded by our four-legged friends. Classes will run one Sunday per month throughout the summer. Let the perfect day continue by enjoying a glass of wine after class or grabbing a bite to eat. The winery features a full menu and serves wine, craft beer and a seasonal signature cocktail or two. The fee is 30$ per person or $25 for children and young adults (12-20) OR for non-wine drinkers. Your supplies will be included in the price as well as a glass of wine. Take 2 weekends (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays May 7-9 & 14-16) to travel this self-driving tour along the Vines & Wines Trail in Northeast Ohio. At each participating winery, you will receive complimentary appetizers, samples of wines, and an annual flowering plant to plant in your flower garden. You will also receive at a designated winery a basket to carry your plants.

Knotty Pine Fundraiser Workshop

Mark your calendars for Grand River Cellars on 5/3/21 at 6:00. This is a fundraiser for the Kent State Ashtabula’s culinary arts program. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the program.   Limited seats available. Cost varies and includes all supplies necessary to leave with a beautiful painted wooden project.  Bow/greenery/sign decor isn’t included. Food and beverages sold separate. These are done with a stencil so you don’t have to be crafty to get a great result.  You might want to bring a t-shirt or apron to paint in.  Please think about what colors you would like your project to be in advance.  You get to pick your background board color as well as your writing colors.  There is no right or wrong.

Due to time constraints, you can only paint one item.  You can purchase multiple items as long as you are purchasing for multiple people.

Cut off date for registration 5/1. Please register in advance!  There are no refunds, everything is pre-cut and ready in advance.
